WEB is a free community service for all newborns & their families who live in Santa Barbara County. Our professional staff of nurses and infant home visitors is available to visit you in your home and call you between visits to provide help and information.
Welcome Every Baby provides:
A Nurse Home Visit (in partnership with Santa Barbara County Public Health Department and Marian Home Care) soon after your baby is born. The nurse helps with breastfeeding, caring for your newborn and other questions or concerns that you may haveThe Welcome Every Baby Line, a call-line staffed by a child development specialist to answer questions that you may have about caring for your baby and your childs development in the first 3 years.Welcomeverybaby.org, a website focused on raising babies in our county. It includes the Welcome Every Parent Handbook and information on topics most important to you during your babys first months
Welcome Every Baby can help you with breastfeeding, caring for your baby and answer questions on how your child is learning and growing. We can help you if you are feeling sad or depressed or have questions or concerns about your well-being or the well-being of your baby. We can also help you connect to other local community services.
