TV Santa Barbara

TV Santa Barbara is the place for the community to come together to connect and create media. It is a nonprofit media center for content creators, providing access to media technology to tell stories, share ideas, and create television shows, independent films, and documentaries.

All are welcome at TV Santa Barbara regardless of your level of experience. We provide hands-on training in media technology and communication. Select from courses designed to help you create your own digital media, develop a television program, or learn how to improve your social media and digital media skills. TV Santa Barbaras community media center is your hub for learning and using media to connect and communicate.

TVSB operates two community media channels on cable: TVSB Voice and TVSB Culture, provides state-of-the art media production equipment to the community, teaches media classes, and helps you to effectively communicate through electronic media. TV Santa Barbara is a local non-profit community media center helping everyday people connect, learn, create and share media featuring their community.

Summer Camp

TVSBs Intro to Television Production Camp sessions introduce youth to the basics of media production in the TVSB Studios through hands-on experience. Students will use TVSBs professional studio production equipment to learn the basics of script-writing, camera work, lighting, directing, sound design, acting, on-camera, and editing. By the end of the week, students will have produced an entire production and each will receive a DVD copy of the program they produce. TVSB provides all the equipment. You just need to provide a sack lunch & drink.
