Art Explorers formerly known as Art Innovators reaches the artistic individual as well as those who never thought they could draw or create works of art!
Art Explorers is about letting your inner artist shine and unleashing your creative energies through the multi-facted areas of visual arts! Through engaging curriculum, we teach art skills, help students see and observe the world around them, encourage individual creativity, and provide the opportunity to learn about many forms of ARTall in a exploring, nurturing, and encouraging environment. Locally owned with 25+ years of bringing art to students of all ages, we know how to inspire each student to SHINE in their own unique way! Currently serving the Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito Union, Cold Spring and Carpinteria School Districts, we have a reputation for quality, reliability, and sustainability.
With Art Explorers, students produce original drawings, paintings, cooper etchings, monoprints, silk paintings, clay sculptures, paper & fabric creations, and a multitude of imaginative and challenging art projects. Students learn techniques and explore a variety of artist quality media: Aqua sticks, charcoal (white & black), oil and soft pastels, clay, Prismacolor markers, ArtStiks and colored pencils, fabric markers, and watercolor, bio-color and acrylic paint. All ages build skills in visual arts, stretch their imagination, and have fun with new and age-appropriate curriculum every session!
Tweens & Teens:
- From novice to expert, students experience exciting and creative design projects intended to motivate this age group!
- New this year: CIT positions available for Summer (junior high/high school students)
Squiggles to Grins:
- Toddlers, ages 2-3 years, plus Mommy or Daddy experience creative art activities.
Preschool Discover:
- Young children, ages 3-5 years, explore drawing, painting and 3-dimensional projects.

The best camp so far! Art Explorers has been a wonderful tech experience for my child who is learning animation & video game programming. A welcome alternative to art and splash camps.

We enrolled my 3 year old in class & it was a great experience. Not only did she get to do different art projects than we can manage at home, but it was great for her to have someone besides her mama & papa telling her what to do and getting her to follow directions.
