Social Film Groups

Social Film Groups merge social skills training and film instruction into one learning experience. Taught by William Davenport, documentary filmmaker, autism specialist and master teacher.Children, teens and adults participate in the groups, producing wonderful films, while learning essential life skills. Filmmaking is about collaboration and within the groups students learn how to listen and interpret the ideas of others. Social Film Groups are fun, rewarding and provide the student the opportunity for self-expression. Children, teens and adults who have experienced great difficulty can shine when given the opportunity within the structure of Social Film Groups.
