Private lessons all summer & two one-week sessions of swim camp. Weekly Mommy & Me classes, too.
SB Swim Campheld at UCSB
At Santa Barbara Swim Camp your child will participate in two pool sessions devoted to stroke technique each day. There will be individualized videotape analysis for each swimmer in our upper groups. We devote a day to each of the four competitive strokes, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. We will also work on racing starts, flip turns, and relay starts. On Friday we have Friday Fun Day. Each participant will demonstrate the strokes they have been working on in a morning exhibition swim. In the afternoon they will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities in and around the pool. This camp is designed for swimmers of all levels.
Private Swim Lessons
Our lessons run Monday through Friday from 9am to 5 pm.We have no more than three instructors in the water at a time, each with their own lesson. All our lessons are one-on-one with the instructors. We think your child will spend less time on the wall or the steps and more time in the water that way.
Come and enjoy our warm water and friendly and professional instructors. We work hard to provide a fun, safe and effective program for your children. Our scheduling is flexible to fit your busy summer!
Wee swim Mommy and Me swim classes
Each week, you and your child will meet with other parents and their children to explore fun ways to enjoy the water. Our experienced instructors will help you learn new techniques to work with your child while enjoying the warm water and abundant pool toys. Children are required to wear a swim diaper at all times. We recommend you sunscreen them before you come. You may also want to put a sun hat on them. (Check with your pediatrician for recommendations on sunscreens) This is a drop in class, so bring a friend. You can pay by the summer, or by the class. Were always flexible. If the class gets too big we will open another session.
