Santa Barbara Friday Night Lights is a non-profit organization focusing on the sport of youth flag football. Our vision is to bring a high quality FUN Flag Football league to the cities of Santa Barbara and Goleta. Previously kids in this area had very limited opportunities to participate in the most exciting sport in america..Flag Football.
Our league is for boys and girls of all different skill levels who are in grades K-8. Online registration for the FALL season takes place during the month of May with practices beginning in August and games beginning in September. Registration for the SPRING season takes place in November with practices beginning in February and games beginning in late February. The format is a 6v6 passing league with very little contact, if any. Ideally, we will have no more than 8 players per team. Players play a minimum of 3 out of 4 quarters.
As with any organization, we are always looking for ways to improve and enhance the FUN experience. We welcome your suggestions.
