AFTER SCHOOL
The Salvation Army After- School Program (ASP) serves school age children (K 6) who attend school in the Goleta Union and Hope School Districts. The ASP design and structure is a combination of academic support, recreation, and program opportunities provided by The Salvation Army and/or collaborating agencies. Our mission is to provide quality after-school care in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment, encourage and facilitate each childs growth and learning while helping them to reach their full potential, and collaborate with each family to meet and exceed their needs and the needs of their child. We strive to provide this quality care at an affordable cost.
SUMMER CAMP
This 8 week summer program is a wonderful extension of the After-School Program; however its expanded to a full day of program activities ranging from arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, group games, guest speakers, outdoor recreation, and off-site field trips. Day Camp is inclusive of our Vacation Bible School program and will teach kids core values based on the Bible. We believe that the love of God is central to a strong family and a well-rounded childhood experience!
