Where clean and sober men live as gentlemen
Recovery Ranch structured sober living for men is a brotherhood. Our main purpose is to help other addicts and alcoholics change their lives so that they can stay clean and sober, and become purposeful, productive members of society.
We work together and hold each other accountable. Recovery Ranch guides and supports each resident to develop strong work ethics, lead with selflessness, and live in gratitude.
We are actively involved in our community as well as the local fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous to establish a strong support system.
Graduates of Recovery Ranch are encouraged to slowly reintegrate back to family, work, or education, where they undergo a transitional period of case management services to ensure long-term recovery.
At the Ranch we no longer use our addiction as a crutch. We have full days, and live and breathe recovery in everything we do.
Living as gentlemen At the Ranch, we learn how to completely change the behavior that leads us to using and drinking. We dont tell war stories about our past, we dont use slang, and we dont curse. We clean up after ourselves, we make our beds to the best of our ability every morning, we eat with a napkin on our lap at every meal, and we keep in mind that when we go out on into the community, we represent the Ranch and all the values and principles we live by.
Work EthicWork ethic is a fundamental part of leading a life of sobriety. The Ranch is dedicated to helping us build a strong work ethic so that everyone that completes the program can lead a full, productive life. At times, we will be faced with things that we dont want to do, and its having the ability to push through with a good attitude that helps us build on our foundation of recovery.
AccountabilityAccountability is the single most important thing we do at Recovery Ranch everything is based and centered around accountability. As addicts and alcoholics, we live lives with very little to no accountability, and thats what fuels a lifestyle of using. Being held accountable for everything we say and do means constant growth and change. Likewise, holding our brothers accountable to the Ranch standard keeps us on point in our own lives.
ActivitiesIts important not only in recovery but also in life to find a balance between hard work and fun. We go on trips, camp, fish, golf, play softball, hike, participate in lots of activities, and even put on our own events.
