Gull Wings Children’s Museum

At the Gull Wings Childrens Museum, children are inspired by their world and are empowered to make their own discoveries through creative learning.

For more than 25 years Gull Wings has been Ventura Countys only childrens museum, and we welcome many visitors regularly from our immediate Oxnard community as well as adjacent counties and cities and from farther afield.

Our programs and exhibits have been designed to allow families to engage in meaningful ways, as children are able to set their own pace while they explore our multidisciplinary experiences.

We are often privileged to hear children say: WOW! How does that work?! I never knew that!! Can I try that again?! That is so cool!!

We encourage everyone to bring their imaginations to the best place for childrens discovery and wonder in Ventura County and beyond.

• Wednesdays:Art with Jessica from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm
• Thursdays:Rhythm & Gulls with Jessica at 10:30 am

We visited this museum with my 1 & 3 year old. It’s a cute idea and there were a lot of different parts of the museum for the kids to explore. My kids really enjoyed the dino dig and the different aquariums. The art project was a huge bonus. Unfortunately it’s a tad run down and has a feeling of being a bit dated & grungy. It was worth it to us to visit once but we won’t be trekking down again from SB.
