Credentialed Tutor

Professional background: After earning my Multiple-Subject Teaching Credential and Masters in Education at UCSB, I taught at the elementary school level (first, second and fourth grade) for six years. I have recently returned to Santa Barbara to pursue a Masters in Clinical Psychology and license in Marriage Family Therapy.

Tutoring experience: I have experience in tutoring reading, writing and math to students of all ages (K-12). I am patient and supportive, and I understand the importance of building a positive and trusting relationship with a student so that they feel comfortable, confident and motivated to learn and grow.

Availability: I am available on weekdays from 3:30pm 8:30pm (excluding Wednesdays) and weekends from 11 am 6pm.

References: I have several families for whom I have worked and are happy to be contacted upon request.
