AHA! is dedicated to the development of character, imagination, emotional intelligence, and social conscience in teenagers. Through an innovative curriculum focusing on self-expression, team-building, empathy training, emotional intelligence, and diversity appreciation, AHA! helps teens learn to set goals, stop bullying and hatred, support their peers, and serve their community.
The curriculum is delivered through a multicultural lens that honors and celebrates our commonalities and differences. Facilitators participate with the teens in lessons and exercises that enhance both group trust and cross-generational alliances.
AHA! serves teens and families all year round. There are after-school programs in Santa Barbara and Carpinteria, a summer program located in Santa Barbara, and in-school programs in Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, and Goleta.
There is also an outdoor program throughout the year and a satellite program in Los Angeles. ALL PROGRAMS ARE FUNDED BY DONATIONS. Please go to classes and events.

This is an excellent program for teens from all backgrounds. My two teenage girls have benefitted from this program. Caring and compassionate facilitators, informative discussions relevant to todays issues, fun and challenging workshops. AHA is the best!
