The Marjorie Luke Theatre is a visionary, model example of a public/private partnership between Santa Barbara Community Youth Performing Arts Center and the S.B. Unified School District. The Luke staff manage and operate the District owned theatre for use by the community and S.B. Junior High School. We are not a producing entity we are a unique, full-service, youth-friendly, affordable, accessible 808-seat rental venue.

Over 140 arts and educational organizations make their home at The Luke. A rich and diverse offering of dance, music, theatre, film and special events makes the Luke a hub of the arts in Santa Barbara. In addition to being known as the place where Santa Barbaras home-grown arts thrive, The Luke is proud to host world class artists including Savion Glover, Judy Collins, Mavis Staples, Gilles Apap, Stephen Stills, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Arturo Sandoval, Rufus Wainwright, The Takacs Quartet and the Canadian Brass.
