YOUTH MAKING CHANGE
Youth Making Change (YMC) empowers youth ages 13 to 19 to be active leaders in their community by promoting service and strengthening youth participation in philanthropy (giving money). The YMC Board members give grants (money) and assistance to projects that address issues and challenges directly affecting youth in Santa Barbara County. After funding, YMC Board members follow-up with the funded groups – sharing what they have learned as grant-makers and philanthropists.
