For over 70 years, the Marymount tradition of excellence has continued to instill a thirst for knowledge, develop core values, and create an intellectually engaging, supportive community. A 9:1 student-faculty ratio, commitment to diversity, accomplished teachers, and state-of-the art facilities are enhanced by a picturesque 10-acre campus along the Riviera.
Our rigorous curriculum, arts and athletics prepare students to become global citizens possessing leadership skills and diverse talents. Of particular note are our world-class language arts and math curricula, as well as the Kaleidoscope program on world cultures and religions. Facilities include portable wireless computer labs, auditorium and stage, a swimming pool (the only area independent school to have one), athletic fields, horizontal rock-climbing wall, and basketball and tennis courts. The campus is walking distance from the historic Santa Barbara Mission.
Extracurricular activities include moviemaking, community service, drama, music, student ambassadors, leadership building, study skills, scuba diving, basketball, soccer, volleyball and track.
