Stage Left Productions reminds our community to “keep it positive” with their latest theatrical collaboration! Legally Blonde transports audiences to Harvard Law School and into the story of Elle Woods, a sorority sister turned Ivy League law student. This heartwarming and witty show teaches us that it’s important to not lose sight of your true self, something that is growing ever more important with today’s new political climate. STAGE LEFT PRODUCTIONS takes on the hit movie turned stage show. More than 60 local young performers ages 10 to 16 are having a blast singing and dancing their way to Harvard in this modern musical. It’s sure to be a good time for the whole family! The production will take place at Santa Barbara High School Theater, on Saturday and Sunday July 22nd and 23rd. Show times are 2:00 and 7:00 p.m. each day. Tickets are $12.00 for General Admission and $25.00 for Reserve Seating, and can be purchased at the door.
Stage Left Productions offers an intensive 4-week summer performing arts program for young performing artists of all experience levels. The training program includes dance and vocal instruction, set and costume design and construction, actor training, improvisation and audition technique. And while they are singing and dancing their hearts out, the young actors are simultaneously learning valuable lessons in confidence, cooperation, respect and team spirit. In addition, Stage Left offers a technical track that allows students to explore their interest in what it takes to build a show behind the scenes.
