We were fortunate to recently visit Haiti and while we were there we were so impressed to see all the things the Haitians make with recycled products.

We saw fun headbands made out of cardboard and burlap.

Our favorite though was all of the jewelry that included necklaces, bracelets and earrings made out of CEREAL BOXES.

They cut these boxes up, roll them, glaze or paint them and string them. Every piece of jewelry is different and beautiful. It is amazing to see how resourceful they can be with what they have on hand.
