1 C flour

1 C water

1/4 C salt

2 tps cream of tartar

1 Tbs vegetable oil

food coloring

Mix all ingredients together, then stir constantly over medium heat until they form a ball. Dump the ball out onto waxed or parchment paper. Wait a few minutes to cool, then knead two or three times. Voila! Homemade playdough.
